  • I joined British Gas almost three years ago and never would have thought I’d work on such a diverse set of different roles and responsibilities. The best thing about being part of the wider Centrica business is how many different businesses there are with so many opportunities. I started the business as Head of Brand Experience, looking after the BG swimming sponsorship, Customer experience and Generation Green (our schools programme to encourage children to be more environmentally conscious.) I then moved on to set up and run our partnership with Sainsbury’s and then on to Commercial Director for our Electrical And Dyno Services Business. I’ve had experience in so many different areas – B2B, key accounts, marketing, managing relationships with the water companies and many other areas. I really love my job and working here primarily because no two days are the same - whilst I’m often out of my comfort zone, I know I’m growing and developing faster than I would anywhere else.
