CanDo Business Ventures develops and deploys purpose built businesses that are centered around providing employment for people with autism and will be owned by the autistic operators and/or their legal guardians.
The businesses we develop act as a cornerstone to provide enough income to fully support all of the autistic operators by generating discretionary income, savings, healthcare, housing and living assistance.
Furthermore, we only develop ventures which have the ability to scale and employ thousands of autistic people.
We've structured CanDo as an LLC which provides research and consulting services. Our aim in doing this is to build a platform and a refined approach to developing a variety of ventures around employing autistic people. However, each of the ventures we create will be structured as nonprofits.
Our first venture is Rising Tide Car Wash which will be a franchisable and environmentally responsible full service car wash. We chose a car wash due to the high community exposure, easy and repetitive labor, strong margins and highly fragmented nature of the industry. We believe this venture will put adult autism front and center in the minds of community members and can be a strong enough brand to out compete most other car washes.
