Camden Partners Holdings is a diversified investment management firm in Baltimore which was founded in 1995. The original partnership name was Cahill Warnock & Company and in 2000 was renamed Camden Partners. Since 1995 four direct investment funds (Strategic Partners) have been raised and invested in three business sectors: Business and Financial services, Education and Healthcare. Camden Private Capital, the Fund of Funds, was formed in 2002 and began investing in 2003. Since its formation three funds have been raised and invested. The first fund of funds was raised in two separate pools. Camden Private Capital Corporate Finance is fully committed to corporate finance funds and Camden Private Capital Venture is fully committed to venture funds. Since 2005 the second and third fund of funds, Camden Private Capital II and Camden Private Capital III, became a diversified fund of funds that invested in leveraged buyouts, venture capital and special situation funds.
