In 1978 Blackburn's Hubcap and Wheel began as a hobby and shortly after a part-time job for Jim Blackburn Sr. This part-time business soon gained momentum and in 1984 Jim Sr. established Blackburn's Hubcap and Wheel where he worked full time. During this period he operated the company with the help of his two sons Jim Jr. (Jimmy) and Torrey. The boys worked after school and on weekends to help establish the foundation on which Blackburn's Hubcap and Wheel operates today. Jimmy and Torrey took to the business in the early years with a sincere passion that still exists today!
Currently, the daily operations are directed by Jimmy and Torrey, with Jim Sr. managing the Classic and Antique specialty categories.
The product offering has evolved with the times and today Blackburn's is the largest privately held company offering original equipment replacement wheel products in the United States. These products consist of New, Reconditioned and Used OE Wheels (steel and alloy), Center Caps, Wheel Covers and Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
