Bertram Nursery Group Ltd, formed in 2006 bringing together Happitots Day Nurseries, Strawberry Hill Nursery & other subsidiaries. In 2008 the group acquired Holyrood Nursery Group & other individual centres in NW England.
The group has grown steadily & now owns & operates over 30 nurseries & 10 out of school care centres providing exceedingly high standards of care & education to over 2000 children each day & meeting the needs of local families, communities & business across the United Kingdom.
Our passionate commitment to being a leading independent provider of Early Years Care & Education & providing our unique Bertram brand of quality to all children in our centres has led to us being the proud recipients of many impressive awards. These have included recognition by various local authorities across the UK, local & national business awards, & the prestigious Nursery Management Today National Awards in Business development, Training, Operations, Nursery Management, Nursery Team & Nursery Chef of the Year.
Our nurseries are all health promoting centres & participate in local health initiatives. We have achieved Golden Grin Awards, NHS menu accreditation, ECO-Schools certificates & consistently achieve good reports from regulators.
