Berendo is located in Montreal, Canada. The owners/co-founders, Lyse and Nathalie, share a duel passion: premium espressos, coffees and outdoor activities. These two nature enthusiasts have a healthy respect for the environment.
To meet their social and environmental objectives, Berendo helps out the coffee and sugar growers by using Fair Trade & Organic products. Partnering with our roaster on R&D is important to us. We aim on quality roasting and constantly try new Fair Trade & Organic green coffees in our roaster's lab.
Berendo offers Premium Fair Trade, Organic Espressos and Coffees. We partnerned and teamed up with an outstanding roaster, Le Transit who roast their beans in "JIT" just in time, simply meaning always fresh. We are proud to say that they follow STRICT guidelines in regards to their process when roasting. Le Transit is certified ISO 9001:2008. The plant is certified Organic and Kosher. In adherence with these strict guidelines, they only purchase the very best green coffee beans.
Berendo in association with the top professionals for the espresso machines, we work our espresso market with the top professionals and finest machines as such: Simonellis. The Simonelli espresso machines used for the Regional, National, and International Barista Championships), Iberital, Saecos, and for super automatics Rex Royal, and Franke. For regular coffee the Newco products are used.
