A national, not-for-profit organization, Battelle for Kids specializes in creating strategies that advance the development of human capital, the use of strategic measures, the implementation of effective practices and communication with all stakeholders in schools.
Our team of former superintendents, principals, classroom teachers, curriculum staff, and business development, technology, communications and public relations professionals, is committed to aligning its expertise to address today’s complex educational-improvement challenges.
Created in 2001, through a partnership with the Ohio Business Roundtable and supported by an initial grant from Battelle Memorial Institute, Battelle for Kids was established to champion improved student achievement in Ohio. In 2005, we expanded our services to offer a wide array of school-improvement services to educators nationwide. Today, we receive philanthropic, public and private funds to support major education-related initiatives and research designed to enhance educators' efforts to accelerate all students' academic progress.
