BAM Infraconsult is the consultancy and engineering office for Royal BAM Group’s civil engineering sector.
BAM Infraconsult has 200 employees spread across its branches in Gouda (head office), Apeldoorn, The Hague, Breda, Utrecht and Singapore.
BAM Infraconsult’s range of services include design, consultancy, inspection and supervision, risk management, systems engineering, innovation and business development in relation to civil engineering and architectural work. The work covers the design, construction and management phases.
BAM Infraconsult also supplied the engineering management for countless large and small projects and selection procedures, including the widening of the A4 motorway between Burgerveen and Leiden and an integrated plan for access to Maastricht and the flow of traffic on the A2 motorway. In the discipline of ‘virtual’ construction, BAM is a leading player in the development of the Construction Information Model.
BAM Infraconsult invested further in developing its
knowledge base by setting up its own wave tank.
This wave simulator can be used to analyse the influence of waves for customers anywhere in the world, for instance for constructing breakwaters, coastal protection,foundations for offshore wind turbines or for research into wave-power plants.
