Asset | Marketing Association Tilburg (Asset | MA-Tilburg) is a dynamical association, that has developed from 1987 onward to one of the largest associations at Tilburg University (UvT). Asset | MA-Tilburg was founded as Marketing Associatie KUB (MAKUB). At Asset | MA-Tilburg, students, scientists and business people work together to create a large spectrum of activities: formal and informal. Formal activities include: knowledge sharing events like an symposium, research studies, educational support, its own magazine and career oriented activities. Informal activities include a commercial night, parties and drinks. At the core of the association are 70 students in twelve committees that organize these activities.
Tilburg University students are the target group of the activities that Asset | MA-Tilburg organizes. Special attention is given to students with interest in Marketing, Marketing Research and Communication. This broad target group attracts many students, like students international business, psychology, communication and business administration. The activities activate students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and earn them valuable skills, which give them an advantage in a business environment. Also, some informal activities are organized that emphasize the social aspect of the association. This takes shape in drinks, parties and a commercial night.
Also linked to this association are the Marketing Alumni, also known as "meesters in marketing". This is a group of about 450 former Marketing students who keep in touch with each other and the association.
Furthermore, Asset | MA-Tilburg is member of Asset, the association for all economics and business students in Tilburg. On a national scale Asset | MA-Tilburg is part of Marketing Association Netherlands.
