Arctic Web is a joint-industry project started in Norway and sponsored by seven energy companies: Statoil, ConocoPhillips, BG Group, ENI, Lundin and Shell. Our goal is to create a web framework that would continuously harvest predefined information from the Key Data Owners – reputable authorities and institutions that produce and maintain reliable and high quality information related to Arctic areas. To that end, our aim is to make Arctic data accessible and searchable in one place. Currently information on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is available; we are working to expand geographically into the other Arctic Regions.
Arctic Web is owned by KADME AS and Acona WellPro. KADME provides the technical solution, Whereoil, and Acona WellPro are the project manager.
