Amplify Credit Union serves people in the Austin, Texas area. Our mission is simple: People helping people achieve financial success.

We’re owned by over 40,000 members, and we’re proud of the fact that we take the time to get to know our members personally. At Amplify Credit Union, we never treat our members like account numbers. Our Account Management Professionals (AMPs) are encouraged to listen to our members’ needs and offer proactive solutions. We empower our AMPS, and all employees, to go above and beyond to meet our members’ needs and provide exceptional service.



Amplify Credit Union been part of Austin for more than 40 years. It started as IBM Texas Employees Federal Credit Union in 1967. In 2004 we opened our membership to anyone who lives, works or attends school in the five counties surrounding Austin.

In 2006 we changed our name to Amplify Credit Union to reflect our commitment to helping people make the most of their finances and achieve financial success. As a workplace, we promote teamwork and open communication in an effort to provide our member-owners with the best solutions for their financial needs.
