American Fidelity's interview process was impressive and welcoming, to say the least. A recruiter called me about a position and thoroughly explained it and the application/interview process. The first thing that caught my eye about AFA was the teamwork atmosphere.
As I was relocating from Texas, AFA worked with me on the best possible day/time for a live interview. What impressed me the most on the day of my interview is that they were readily prepared and ready to “Wow” me. I felt as if they rolled out the red carpet just for me. The interview itself was extremely thorough and explained AFA’s history, goals, values and purpose. Colleagues and Customers are at the focus of the Company.

Want to join our family? Our automated online application starts the process. This tool is customized to screen for both skill sets and culture fit.
Our next step if there is a position match is a phone interview with a recruiter from our talent management team. Candidates who pass this phase are then scheduled for additional skills testing and a face-to-face interview with the recruiter. The next step involves an interview with the hiring manager, and then usually a team interview to ensure fit with the whole team.
A Team-Based Environment
At American Fidelity, you’re immediately immersed in the team-based culture. You’ll not only connect with your department members, but with people from around the company as you participate in team-based projects. All major projects and initiatives involve colleagues from various departments who are selected based on their strengths and expertise. These teams collaborate on projects such as recruiting, going green, launching a new intranet solution, social media, product development and many more.
