Aaina is a voluntary organisation based in Odisha, India. Disability, Children and Women's rights are our core focus areas. The organisation was founded in 1998. With a backdrop of thirteen successful years of operation, Aaina is today recognised as one of the front ranking NGOs of Odisha working in the field of disability.
VISION:
aaina strives to see a world of identity, dignity and equal opportunities for underprivileged people, especially women, children and persons with disabilities, adopting a creative approach and need based strategies.
MISSION:
To dedicate itself as a facilitator of social development through a participatory process of awareness generation, advocacy and need based intervention with due emphasis on the vulnerability of persons with disabilities, persons in special difficulty due to natural and/or man made calamity, women and children subjected to discrimination and neglect, people deprived of social justice and human rights and those living under abject poverty.
