"A Way with Words" is a public radio program about language -- word and phrase origins, regional dialects, slang, linguistic and cultural diversity, grammar, books and reading, and speaking and writing well. Our long-term goal is to help people to connect with each other through an appreciation for and a deeper understanding of language. The program is independently produced and distributed by Wayword, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in 2009. The program has been broadcast in a variety of forms for more than 15 years.
