HydraTek was founded in the late 1980's in order to provide consulting engineering services for problems involving waterhammer in pipe systems. HydraTek has completed over 250 waterhammer and hydraulic analysis and investigation projects in a diverse range of pipe systems such as water distribution networks, water transmission systems, sewerage force mains, airport jet fuel supply networks and hydroelectric installations.
In the recent years, the volume of engagements, as well as the global adoption of hydraulic transient analysis, hydraulic modelling, and specialized field investigations have increased to the point where we have decided to re-organize our firm to meet these demands. Under its new corporate direction and additional technical expertise, HydraTek has diversified its services and experience to the point where it now offers comprehensive hydraulic modelling, analysis, training, investigation, field, and design services for a variety of complex hydraulic systems. HydraTek prides itself on teaching its clients how to better design and manage their system(s), while not relying on the traditional "black-box" approach to a specialized discipline such as waterhammer.
