Our mission is to provide individuals who are, have been or may be subject to compulsory care with the opportunity to develop, contribute and be valued as assets so that communities have safe, proven effective and economical alternatives to institutional placement.
We currently serve over 12,000 youth and families per year, operating over 132 programs across 18 states and the District of Columbia. We have assisted international partners in implementing and integrating the YAP model in Hawaii, Ireland, Sierra Leone, Guatemala and Scotland.
