ImaCor, an innovator in critical care devices, has changed the future of hemodynamic management with the development of the first TEE monitoring device. ImaCor was founded in 2004 by Scott Roth, M.D. and Steven Evans, M.D., and world-renowned scientist Harold Hastings, Ph.D. The ImaCor mission is to develop dynamic technology that raises the standard of critical care, improves patient outcomes, and lowers healthcare costs. ImaCor’s Zura system and ClariTEE probe represent the first TEE Monitoring system that defies the concepts of ultrasound physics to meet a critical need.
The ClariTEE Probe from ImaCor provides direct visualization of cardiac structures assessing volume status and pump function on demand, for any patient requiring hemodynamic monitoring in a critical care setting. The miniaturized (5.5mm) disposable ClariTEE ultrasound probe may be introduced in the patient before leaving the OR, or upon arrival in the critical care unit. The probe remains indwelling as long as hemodynamic monitoring is required, for up to 72 hours. This is ideal for the workflow in critical care settings where the fluid challenge is greatest. When TEE-monitoring is required, the probe simply connects to the ImaCor Zura™ ultrasound system and is ready to image.
For the first time, TEE monitoring of a patient’s hemodynamic status is possible and clinicians are truly able to guide management while reducing the cost. Through innovation and expertise, Imacor’s ClariTEE probe is ready to make an extraordinary impact in the way critical care monitoring is done.
