The Student International Business Council seeks to fulfill its vision of “Peace Through Commerce” by interacting with global companies and organizations. This is accomplished through educating its members and the Notre Dame community on the different aspects of international business through projects, case studies, and international internships. Beginning as a small activity within the business college over 20 years ago, the SIBC has become the largest student organization on campus, with nearly 300 members from both the University of Notre Dame and St. Mary’s College. The Council offers a variety of opportunities to members based on their interests, including accounting, consulting, finance, marketing, and more. The project base has grown to include over 30 academic projects each semester, and the Council now sponsors over 20 interns annually around the globe.
