America SCORES New England (ASNE) innovatively combines soccer leagues, creative writing workshops, and community service projects into a single after-school program for 660 Boston Public School 3rd-8th graders. ASNE also offers off-season soccer clinics, a songwriter-in-residency program, a leadership team, a girls initiative, and a mentoring program.
The mission of ASNE is to empower students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, America SCORES New England inspires youth to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities.
