Keymark’s main software package is KeyBuild® which allows users to create a 3D model of the structure and automatically calculate gravity, wind and seismic forces. It takes standard 3D software to a higher level of usefulness. KeyBuild® also sizes and specs all the framing members throughout the structure; allowing the architect and engineer greater control of engineering design further upstream in the process and ensuring a more optimal design. The wood material waste reduction enabled by this process is significant at 5-10%. Working from a single 3D data model greatly reduces redundant input, calculation, and human error for downstream functions. KeyBuild® also fully supports automated production of trusses as well as wall and floor framing.
