Teach/Here is a teacher residency program. With a focus on science and mathematics, the program operates in Chattanooga and Knoxville, Tenn. public school districts in partnership with the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the Public Education Foundation.
Teach/Here combines classroom-based apprenticeship and rigorous university training. Over the course of one year, participants earn both a Master's degree and a Tennessee Teaching Certificate. Participants will then be placed in a full-time teaching position at a middle or high school in Chattanooga's or Knoxville's public school system.
