NEW PROJECTS
New Team Alliance with Saunders Construction Gilmore Corporation on the Stapleton Recreation Center
Stapleton Recreation Center
The new Stapleton Recreation Center is underway and scheduled to open before the end of 2010. Gilmore is the Associated General Contractor working with Saunders Construction to build this new 35,000 SF facility. Long time superintendent, Steve Young is working with the project management team to complete this project. Gilmore will also be performing several building tasks as the project progresses.
North High School - JV Adolfson & Peterson
Welcome Sean Mendez. Sean joins Gilmore as a Superintendent assigned to the renovation of North High School. He and Gary Uba as the prject engineer will be working with Adlofson & Peterson in the renovtion of this $15,000, historic renovation of the school built in 1911.
FEDERAL CENTER 8(a) Partnership
Gilmore Construction is partnered with a native american firm and together they are performing work at the Denver Federal Center. Utilizing Gilmore's strong reputation for quality work, the new 8(a) firm NUETA is off to a great start at the center and GSA is very pleased with the work of both firms.
Gilmore's Mentorship with 8(a) firm based in Colorado Springs.
Gilmore is in the process of forming a mentoring relationship with a plumbing and HVAC 8(a) firm based in Colorado Springs. The new firm is very excited to receive the long term help from Gilmore that will assist them in areas of business management, government contracting and paperwork to name a few areas.
