Sustainable Works is a nonprofit organization committed to providing Environmental Education and Action driven results to students, residents, businesses, and the community at large. Our programs illustrate that everyone can begin taking positive steps to lower their ecological footprint, protect our local and global environments, improve human health, and ultimately save money in the process.
Sustainable Works has offered various programs to the City of Santa Monica since 1998, officially forming as Sustainable Works in 2001.
Our programs reduce environmental impacts and promote sustainable lifestyles. We inspire living patterns that value our resources, reduce hazardous chemicals, and promote sustainable actions that benefit the local economy and community – for the sake of current and future generations.
Sustainable Works is interested in expanding into other cities with a focus on sustainability, resource efficiency, or community development.
