Streetside Stories is a nonprofit arts education organization. Through the power of storytelling, Streetside Stories cultivates young people's voices to develop literacy and arts skills, fosters educational equity, values diversity, and builds community. Last year, Streetside's programs served over 2,500 youth and teachers. 70% of the students Streetside Stories serves are low-income, 95% are people of color, with many immigrant youth for whom English is a second language.
