The Wellness Management and Recovery Coordinating Center of Excellence (WMR CCOE) is located in Columbus Ohio. The WMR CCOE developed and piloted the Wellness Management & Recovery Program which is a 10-session small group intervention for persons with psychiatric and co-occuring disorders. The WMR Program utilizes a psychoeducation curriculum which offers participants the opportunity to learn more about holistic wellness, informed decision making, self-advocacy in treatment, as well as the importance of developing collaborative partnerships with treatment providers.
The WMR CCOE a technical assistance center that provides training, technical assistance, implementation support, and evaluation activities to healthcare organizations for the purposes of supporting WMR Program implementation. The CCOE is staffed by individuals with considerable expertise in mental health recovery, group process, and multicultural competency.
