Jackson & Campbell, P.C. Jackson & Campbell won a significant victory recently for a pool management company in a case involving a seriously injured child. The child was left in a persistent vegetative state after nearly drowning during off hours in a pool at a Maryland apartment complex. The court rejected an attempt to expand the liability of landlords and their agents and, applying settled Maryland law, held that the pool management company was not liable, because the child was a trespasser.
