KAI Design & Build (KAI) is a firm built upon a foundation of teamwork and collaboration.

Established in 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri by Michael E. Kennedy, RA, KAI began as a design firm and has now grown into one of the area’s largest and most respected design and build firms. KAI has a multi-disciplined staff of over 90 professionals providing innovative Architecture, Interior Design, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering and Program, Project and Construction Management services.
