OneWorld Health is a nonprofit drug development organization and a social enterprise that develops safe, effective, and affordable new medicines for children in the developing world.
Our vision is to serve as a positive agent for change by saving lives, improving health, and fulfilling the promise of medicine for those most in need. We have successfully developed a drug for black fever, a fatal disease afflicting only the poorest of the poor in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sudan, and other countries. We have successfully filed an IND for a new chemical entity for treatment of cholera and other life threatening GI diseases in infants.
OWH is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the UK government, Skoll Foundation, UBS Foundation, other foundations, and by individual donors.
