Keolis Transit America was established in 2011, when Keolis America, Inc., acquired Tectrans, Inc., a proven, respected leader in American transit operations. With that acquisition, Tectrans changed its name to Keolis Transit America Inc., but made no other changes to the legal structure or corporate identity and Keolis Transit America was born. Keolis Transit America is wholly owned by Keolis America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Keolis SA, (collectively referred to as Keolis Group).
