Welcome to our website. 2 Life Art is a company that can produce anything from recycled wood for you. 2 Life Art has been founded by Arie van Liempd, also the owner of the demolition firm A. van Liempd Sloopbedrijven BV, and concentrates itself fully on recycling demolition wood.
The reason why we want to recycle demolition wood is that the world is running out of its resources. Woods are chopped down in order to get new wood, while at the same time loads of wood are burned up. In that way we retrieve energy, yet at the same time we contaminate the ozone layer. Wouldn’t it be better to recycle wood?
In our saw mill and carpenters’ workshop in Sint-Oedenrode we produce remarkable objects, all made from recycled wood that has its own story.
For example old wooden banisters from a block of flats are reused as big flower boxes. We have also made a bed out of wood from a house built by someone’s husband. Everything has its own story and that is the power of 2 Life Art. Wood, sometimes more than a hundred years old, remains and thus a piece of history remains.
