Mourne Training Services (MTS) is an independent training consultancy specialising in learning and development related to pharmaceutical analysis. The consultancy was set up by Oona McPolin, an experienced analytical chemist and fully qualified trainer, in 2007. The following services are offered:
Open enrolment training courses at external locations on a range of topics related to chemical analysis including HPLC and method validation. The current schedule of dates and locations is available on the MTS website.
iLearn: Open enrolment e-Learning training courses which combine self-paced on demand training with tutor support. Basic HPLC course now available.
UTrain: Online, pre-prepared training package for in-house use. A free trial is available through the MTS website.
On-site training courses:
Trainer visits the customer site to deliver customised training. Topics include: Introduction to HPLC, HPLC method development and analytical method validation.
Web-based training: Live training is delivered by personal tutor using the internet. Topics include: Introduction to HPLC, HPLC method development and analytical method validation.
Training books: MTS publishes a number of books based on training courses, e.g. An Introduction to HPLC for Pharmaceutical Analysis.
Training consultancy services: MTS provides a range of consultancy services related to the design, implementation and evaluation of training programmes.
