ViNotion

ViNotion is a young specialized organization with highly-educated personal in the field of video processing and video content analysis that develops innovative technology for professional applications, based on intelligent image analysis or computer vision.
The company is established at the campus of the Eindhoven University of Technology and has access to the most relevant research groups of the university. Results of academic research are exploited for customized solutions.
During the development of video-content-analysis algorithms, we focus on specific implementations that are suitable for the end product. Hence, PC’s and appliances with embedded software are possible platforms. For specific problems or dedicated platforms we search for effective solutions in cooperation with the customer.

The strength and knowledge of ViNotion is in the following areas: object detection and more general pattern recognition, tracking of moving objects, face detection, video processing architectures and solution integration, thermal imaging analysis, and validation and certification of analysis algorithms. Applications of the above technology that have been developed by ViNotion are in surveillance, machine and computer vision, logistics, and object detection and metadata generation for large image/video databases. ViNotion has been active for companies like, Philips Electronics, VDG Security, CycloMedia Technology, Intech Dike Security Systems, and HVSS a Thermal vision security company.
