Nutrition and Diet Resources UK (NDR-UK) are taking forward the work of the Scottish Nutrition and Diet Resources Initiative (SNDRí) from 1 May 2011.
SNDRí was set up by dietitians in March 2001, an extension of the Scottish Diet Sheet Initiative. With funding from the Scottish Executive, it was part of their strategy to improve Scotland's health, published in the 1996 Scottish Diet Action Plan. In 2010, the initiative recevied part funding from the Scottish Government and Welsh Assembly Government.
Nutrition and diet resources are essential educational tools for health professionals. NDR-UK aims to become the recognised provider of high quality nutrition and diet resources.
