What | Innovating Justice is a platform to improve the rule of law and access to justice.
Why | Better, and more sustainable legal rules and procedures contribute to balanced relationships between people, their organisations and their leaders.
How | We facilitate a community of Rule of Law entrepreneurs. We give voice to people and organisations who need innovative approaches so that their justice needs can be met. We help to identify challenges and realize sustainable solutions. We nurture promising innovations with knowledge, networks and tools.
For whom | Policy makers, academics, and entrepreneurs; in short all those involved in strengthening the Rule of Law and access to justice.
History | Lauched in July 2009, Innovating Justice is a collaborative effort from four legal organizations: the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law (HiiL), the Microjustice Initiative (MJI), the European Academy for Law and Legislation (EALL) and the Center for International Legal Cooperation (CILC).
Innovating Justice is subsidized by NL Agency, a division of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation and the city of The Hague.
