1) To improve athletic performance and overall fitness in professional baseball by promoting participation in sound strength and conditioning programs.
2) To bring together all of the strength and conditioning coaches associated in the ranks of Major League Baseball (to include the minor league development system within professional baseball) regardless of race, color, creed or nationality.
3) To promote recognition of the PBSCCS as the worldwide authority on strength and conditioning in professional baseball.
4) To educate the membership, public, governing bodies and governmental agencies conerning the improvement of baseball athletic performance and fitness.
5) To support research in strength and conditioning in baseball and disseminate results for practical application.
6) To promote and maintain a sense of community among strength and conditioning professionals of all levels.
7) To provide career opportunities and enhancement.
8) To provide effective communication with other organizations, the media and the public.
9) To establish and promote standards and guidelines regarding strength and conditioning in professional baseball.
10) To take all steps and actions (consistent with the by-laws of the society) to implement and carry out the objectives, rights, activities and responsibilities of this society.
