Our mission is three fold: to create and manage charter, alternative-education, and private schools that urban youth; to deliver cutting-edge solutions to the urban attitude problem rampant in today's hip hop culture; and to train professionals to effectively relate to and educate this generation of students.
We currently oversee three schools in York, Pennsylvania. Those schools are Challenge Academy, an alternative education middle and high school; Impact Academy, an elementary "at risk" private school, and New Hope Academy Public Charter School, a public charter school serving grades 5 through 12.
We also oversee UICF, the Urban Impact Community Foundation, which operates as a non-profit organization that raises funds for scholarships for students as well as urban renewal projects in York City. We are working to create educational opportunities and safe passage for our youth and neighbors that will allow positive development from birth through college and career.
New Grounds Roasting Company is another aspect of our management company. With 2 locations, New Grounds serves freshly roasted green beans in house from regions all over the world and also offers teas, smoothies, and frozen drinks.
