Cubic Health is an independent drug plan management and analytics company founded in 2003. We occupy a unique niche in the Canadian marketplace in that we are not a claims processor, plan administrator, benefits consultant or advisor – we are an analytics company. We work with plan sponsors and their advisors to assist them in containing plan costs without adversely impacting the value of the benefits program they provide to their plan members. We provide plan-specific information that allows plan sponsors and their advisors to make strategic decisions related to their plans.
Our tools are unique in the Canadian marketplace. We have built proprietary analytics systems, reporting applications and clinical tools that allow us to look at a plan’s own blinded (i.e. non-personally identifiable) transactional-level drug claims data. We have also built and maintain one of the largest databases of Canadian drug information. Our ability to go well beyond the basic, aggregate-level reporting provided to plan sponsors and advisors by their vendors, and look at every paid, reversed and rejected claim made within the plan experience.
Our clients include fully-insured and ASO plan sponsors ranging in size from 100 to 80,000 employees, benefits consultants and brokers, as well as provincial and territorial governments. We work with transactional-level claims data from all of the major claims processors and insurance carriers, and service clients from across the country.
