McNab is a people focussed commercial construction company, with a reputation for working closely with our clients and consultants to deliver quality projects on time. As a result, McNab has experienced sustained growth since it's foundation by Michael McNab, in 1996.
With offices in Brisbane, Toowoomba and Townsville, McNab employs a team of 223 talented and dedicated staff, and utilises the skills of selected consultants to bring additional expertise to specific projects. Through these contacts, McNab has access to a valuable network of outstanding personnel and sub-contractors throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
Together, we have built a vibrant young company with the drive and capability to exceed our clients’ expectations on even the most challenging projects. Our ability to provide exceptional value and meet deadlines without compromising on quality has inspired remarkable loyalty in our clients. We are particularly proud of our high level of repeat business.
In an industry where companies rise and fall, McNab’s foundations are strong and secure. And that gives our clients, shareholders and staff a great deal of faith in the future – theirs, and ours.

McNab McNab has been selected to construct a landmark project for the University of Queensland, the 6 Star Green Star Global Change Institute. The building will be the first educational Living Building Challenge project in Queensland – a rating and advocacy tool that promotes the creation of lasting, sustainable buildings and communities. Living Building Challenge goes beyond 6 Star Green Star to create a project that is restorative to the environment, rather than having even a small negative impact. -
