Who We Are
Transmar is a long established, traditional, family-run ship agency founded by George A. Kavoukas in 1963. Our aim is to provide a high quality service to shipowners, charterers, and operators in a safe and timely manner. Transmar serves all types of vessels calling Greek ports. We offer a comprehensive range of ship agency services and customer satisfaction is always our top priority.
Our head office is in Piraeus port, Greece. From Piraeus, we handle and respond to our principals' needs and represent them in the following ports/areas - either directly or through our strong network of reliable subagents
What We Do

Our comprehensive range of service includes Liaison with local authorities:
Inward / outward clearance
Crew change and services including immigration formalities, meet-and-greet service at the airport and hotel accommodation, air tickets and shore pass arrangements
Spares clearance and delivery arrangement
Liaison with tugboats and service boats
Slops and waste disposal arrangement
Fresh water supplies
Liaison and follow-up with workshops, surveyors and suppliers, including stores, provisions and bunkers.
