Anchor Counseling Center is a private practice that provides therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. We believe in providing professional, reliable, and consistent counseling to improve the well-being of all of our patients.
Anchor Counseling first opened it’s doors in Cumberland, RI in 2009. Since our original office, we have opened 3 additional offices which are conveniently located in Lincoln, Cranston, and East Providence, Rhode Island. The offices offer a welcoming, calming, and nurturing environment. We currently treat about 2500 patients and are always trying to improve our committment to each of you by using the latest research based treatment approaches.
Anchor Counseling Center currently has 20 therapists specializing in an array of mental health issues. All our clinicians can be found on Psychology Today and have been verified. They are all independently licensed, which means they have been practicing for at least 2 years post-graduate school.
We also have a psychologist on staff to test patients to assist in an appropriate diagnosis and offer treatment suggestions.
