Bartlett Regional Hospital (BRH) consists of a 48 bed acute care hospital, a 12 bed Adult Behavioral Health Facility, and a 16 bed Chemical Dependency Recovery Center. At Bartlett, we offer a wide array of general acute care services and have 74 physicians on active staff.
BRH is a not-for-profit hospital operated as an entity of the City and Borough of Juneau with a Board responsible for the economic viability and management oversight of medical operational issues. Our hospital has a history of financial stability and net revenue is budgeted at $98 million for the upcoming fiscal year. The primary and secondary service area has a combined population of 58,000. BRH is the largest hospital in Southeast Alaska and we’re committed to being the best community hospital in Alaska.
Our benefit package is strongly competitive and our generous paid leave program is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. Bartlett participates in the City & Borough of Juneau self-insured medical program which provides for a three tier choice for employees and their families. In addition, Bartlett participates in the State of Alaska Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) as we are considered a government entity with the City and Borough of Juneau.
