CABER or the Centre for Applied Biomedical Engineering Research is a dedicated centre established in the University of Limerick Department of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering to pursue world class research in the field of biomedical engineering. Its core activities focus on basic and applied research of the cardiovascular system, medical devices, orthopaedics and tissue engineering. The Centre is located in the Materials and Surface Science Institute (MSSI) within the University of Limerick.
