Twin Cities Public Television is dedicated to using the power of media for public good - to promote a more informed and vibrant community.

Our four main “areas of impact” are:
A. Getting children ready for school
B. Promoting civic engagement
C. Providing opportunities for lifelong learning
D. Documenting and preserving Minnesota’s (and America’s) history and culture.


We create this impact in three key ways:

A. Curate – we are “curators of quality TV”; from PBS and other sources we seek out the highest quality, most trustworthy television programs across a wide spectrum of interests

B. Create – we produce original television programs for both national and regional broadcast designed to educate, inform and inspire

C. Connect – we seek to create connections (both through and beyond television) with our audience and between our audience and other mission-centered organizations throughout our region.
