Current Company Logo

the Rubicon Project launched in 2007 on a mission to automate buying and selling for the $65 billion global online advertising industry. Backed by $33 million in funding from Clearstone Venture Partners, Mayfield Fund, and IDG Ventures, the company has since optimized more than 320 billion ads, or 40 billion+ each month, for more than 1500 premium customers across more than 400 top ad networks in the U.S. and abroad. Reaching more than 500 million unique Internet users, the Rubicon Project is one of the largest sources of ad inventory and reach on the Internet and the preferred source of targeted, audience-segmented inventory for ad networks and audience representation firms around the world. We’ve been featured in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Business Week and Fortune, and recognized with a number of awards.

Today, we have offices in New York and London, as well as our headquarters in Los Angeles. And we're looking for more A+ entrepreneurs to join us in all of these locations (and more).

Our goal is to continue to build a truly different kind of company. From the people we hire, our company culture, products we build, to how we reward our employees, we aim to make the Rubicon Project a place people are excited to come to everyday. Our environment is fast-paced, passionate and team-oriented, creative and interactive. The passion shows through beyond our work - we’re deeply committed to giving back to our community.

We go above and beyond to create a strong culture, so it's important to us to keep our team happy. Very happy. In addition to standard benefits like health, dental, vision insurance, and 401K plans we also throw in perks like generous stock option packages, free gym memberships, catered lunch and dinner, a well-stocked kitchen with healthy snacks (and free vending machines!), dry cleaning, car washes, and regular company happy hours.
