Its StoneGate Security Platform unifies firewall, virtual private network (VPN), and intrusion prevention and detection system (IPS) into a unified and centrally managed system for distributed enterprises. Stonesoft Corp. also develops StoneGate SSL VPN that offers remote application access via web interface. The company also offers hardware appliances relating to the network security. Stonesoft was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland.
