Star Leasing was founded in 1974 in Columbus, Ohio by Lloyd W. Sharp. Originally, the company was established to provide semi truck trailer leasing, rental, sales and repair to other trucking interests owned by Mr. Sharp. The profitability of semi truck trailer leasing, rental and repair; as well as requests by customers to lease trailers, persuaded him to focus on building Star Leasing. At Star Leasing, we serve all of our customer's semi truck trailer sales, trailer leasing, trailer rental, trailer repair and portable storage trailer rental needs. Our company provides tailored semi truck trailer leasing, rental and repair programs for various semi truck sizes and configurations, including complete service and repair support to companies which operate private and contract transportation fleets and motor carriage companies that are primarily located in Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Southwestern North Carolina and Northern Georgia. Our company also brokers new and used semi truck trailer sales to many of those same customers. In addition to servicing and repairing our own fleet, we also offer our customers trailer repair and maintenance services on their semi trailers.
