Joint venture “Rimi Baltic” launched its operations on 3 January 2005. The “Rimi Baltic” retail chain operates in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. It is one of the largest retail chains in the region whose aim is to become the leader of the food retail market in the Baltic States by reaching 25 % of the market share within 3 years.

Swedish “ICA Baltic AB” belonging to the ICA group hold all (100%) of the company’s shares each.
“Rimi Baltic” owns shopping centres of three different concepts:

“Rimi Hypermarket”,
“Rimi” (“Supermarket”),
Hard-discounter shops known under the name “Supernetto” in Lithuania and Latvia and „Säästumarket“ in Estonia.

Rimi Baltic Group operates 243 stores in the Baltic region; 77 are located in Estonia, 101 – in Latvia, and 65 – in Lithuania. The headquarters of “Rimi Baltic” are situated in Riga, Latvia’s capital city.
