Ellos, a Swedish company, is a mail order house that serves the Nordic region. The products that are sold by the company are largely clothing for men, women and children, all of which are delivered by mail. Previously listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, the company was purchased by ICA, a Swedish retail chain; in 1995, Ellos was acquired by Industri Kapital, in 1997, it was bought by Redcats, a French mail order group. Presently, Ellos is present in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Estonia. As of May 20, 1997, Ellos AB is a subsidiary of La Redoute.
