Raywood Communications designs, manufactures and supplies taxi industry equipment to transmit digital data over two-way radio systems. Raywood's products line include Computer Dispatch Systems, Global Positioning Systems, In-Vehicle Surveillance Cameras, as well as offering associated product support and technical services. Raywood supplies its equipment to taxi and courier dispatch companies throughout Australia (with a market penetration of over 80%), Dubai, United Kingdom, Malaysia, New Zealand and the United States of America. Raywood's equipment and application software are developed in-house. In 1997 Raywood Communications became a subsidiary of Simoco Pacific Pty Ltd, a radio communications supplier, and now operates independently, following a management buyout in May 2000.
