In September 1995, Random Access, Inc. was acquired by ENTEX Information Services, Inc. (EIS) through the merger of ENTEX Acquisition Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of EIS, with and into Random Access. Prior to the acquisition, Random Access, Inc. provided PC systems and services in the western United States. Its products and services included microcomputer hardware and software; local and wide area networking systems design and support; videoconferencing and telecommunications consulting; workstations; and service, training/education, and support.
